At Barriers Direct we sell a wide range of crowd control aids. One of the simplest and most cost-effective options are our plastic delineator posts. This freestanding post comes with a black plastic base. The post is highly visible thanks to its fluorescent orange-and-white striped pattern. It is easy to spot, day or night. The lightweight poles are held in place by a sturdy plastic base which prevents them from toppling over.
At the top of the post, you can install t-top chain accessory screws. This allows for the use of a plastic chain to create the desired barrier. With the chain in place, it becomes a perfect way to control pedestrian movement, mark out a construction zone or maintenance area and more. The lightweight plastic material makes these plastic delineator posts very easy to store, transport and set up. They are also often used to demarcate traffic lanes, especially when there are roads or other public works being attended to.
Besides the standard plastic delineators, you can also opt to buy plastic post markers. They work in much the same way as a plastic delineator, but the double reflective collar band at the top is optional. These hollow plastic hollow markers are typically black, with the option of having white reflective bands added. These plastic delineator posts are great for installing in concrete and asphalt and can also be stuck in the earth. The delineators can comfortably go to a depth of about 300mm and still leave a height of 1,000mm visible above ground.
Our roadrunner delineation system is ideal for guiding traffic on the roads. The modules can be connected together and each module comes with wheels for easy transportation. They are available in packs of different quantities from 2 up to 25. The modules are available in red or white, while you can also choose packs of mixed colours.
